Is a Sustainable Business Roundtable Right for Monroe County?

CGR is working with Monroe County, NY to assess the feasibility of a Sustainable Business Roundtable. Right now, many local organizations are addressing sustainable business practices on their own. Sustainability is about implementing business practices that use resources wisely to minimize environmental impact and waste, improve workforce well-being, improve operational resiliency, and strengthen a business’s bottom line. There is no one size fits all approach. By bringing together businesses, nonprofits, and public sector partners, a roundtable could foster collaboration and knowledge sharing around sustainability practices that support environmental responsibility, workforce well-being, and financial performance.

If you own, operate or represent a business, including a non-profit organization, located in Monroe County, please take 10 minutes to complete this survey and sign up for a focus group if interested. Results of the survey and focus groups will help determine whether a roundtable moves forward and help ensure that any potential future program is practical, valuable, and relevant.
