An Updated View of the Latino Population

CGR recently completed an update to our Latino Profile for the Ibero American Action League, which will be unveiled at Ibero’s State of the Latino Community online event on Oct. 15 (register here). The Latino population is one of the fastest growing demographic groups across New York State and skews young, with those under 25 making up about 50% of the total in many areas. The Profile documents persistent disparities in outcomes for Latinos across several areas of well-being as well as areas of improvement including early prenatal care. We also report on the impact of Ibero’s Migrant Relocation Assistance Program, which has helped nearly 400 families with basic needs and increasing their stability.
