Six of the seven Marbletown Fire Districts (Cottekill, High Falls, Lomontville, Marbletown, Stone Ridge and Vly-Atwood) and the Marbletown First Aid Unit are evaluating their current operations and are looking for options to address some of the challenges they face. During the project, CGR engaged the numerous stakeholders in the community including elected officials, department leadership, volunteers and career staff.

CGR is working with a steering a committee to draft a report that describes operational factors and identify options for the districts to consider for the future including the status quo, expanding shared services and the merger of one of more districts.
