We were pleased to partner with the Pennsylvania Economy League (PEL) to study the financial and operational impacts of consolidating the City of DuBois and Sandy Township. CGR is always exploring new ways to help local governments organize more effectively.

CGR Welcomes Three New Members to its Board of Trustees

CGR is pleased to welcome three new members to its Board of Trustees. They bring important perspectives and expertise in public education, local government, the nonprofit sector, business and human services.

The new board members, who began their three-year terms in February, are:

Dr. Daniele Lyman-Torres, Commissioner of the Department of Recreation & Human Services for the City of Rochester. Dr. Lyman-Torres plans, directs and controls the administration and provision of services by the Department of Recreation and Human Services (i.e., Recreation, Human Services, Public Market, Parks, and Youth Services).  She also serves on the board of Willow Domestic Violence Center. 

Marisol O. Ramos-Lopez, Chief of Communications & Intergovernmental and Community Relations of the Rochester City School District. Ms. Ramos-Lopez oversees the communications for the District and its schools to meet their communications needs and provide clear, useful, accurate information to the public. This work is intended to raise awareness of school and student successes; build parent and community support through effective communication in a variety of media; and strengthen public confidence in the District and its schools through media outreach and public relations. Ms. Ramos-Lopez also serves on the boards of Causewave and Villa of Hope.

Thomas J. Rogers, Senior Vice President/CFO for ESL Federal Credit Union. Mr. Rogers oversees ESL accounting, treasury, strategic planning, market and business intelligence, product development, and operations areas. He also serves as a member of several executive-level committees. He is serving as board of director’s chair of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester, and board member of the COMET Informatics, LLC.
