WFL BOCES requested and has been granted an extension from the Department of State regarding the completion of the Regional High School Study. BOCES and the districts in Ontario County are in the process of reviewing final documentation. We expect the report to be released by the end of May.

Public forums were held on January 3rd at Finger Lakes Community College and on January 5th at Hobart William Smith Colleges.

Why a regional feasibility study?

For most communities business as usual is not an option. Increasing fiscal pressures and expanding expectations for students and schools demand new thinking.


This study is a strategic planning process to help the regional community identify potential ways for districts to work together to maximize the high school experience for students in Ontario County now and into the future.
