- Assessment of the cost and benefits of a downstate County's public health nursing program
- Design and implementation of an evaluation to assess the progress and outcomes of statewide lead poisoning prevention programs
- Survey of residents in a Hudson Valley county to assess their perceptions of community health issues
- Review of management, fiscal and operational components of a county's human service delivery system in order to cut costs and improve efficiency
Completed Projects
- Evaluation of a city's innovative lead law, the first in the U.S. mandating dust wipes in urban "high risk" areas as part of rental housing inspection
- Research support for NYS study identifying opportunities to enhance service sharing in 3 communities (collectively involving 2 cities, 4 towns, 1 village)
- Data collection and analysis for a study on the future of county nursing facilities in NYS
- Assessment of the readiness of schools in a county to implement obesity prevention programs
- Data collection and analysis of a county’s capacity and demand for senior transportation
- Review of initiatives and strategies aimed at reducing health care costs - for a foundation establishing criteria for awarding health-related grants
- Support for activities of a countywide consortium addressing the needs of seniors
- Analysis of survey data on attitudes and behaviors of a county’s residents regarding tobacco
- Research to help assess the efficiency and effectiveness of a county’s mental hygiene service delivery system
- Coordination and assistance on a grant related to supporting senior independence
Education
B.A. in Anthropology from Smith College and an M.P.H. in Health Policy and Management from the State University of New York at Albany. In addition, she is Certified in Public Health by the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
Background
Ms. Ayoob joined CGR in 2006. Previously she held positions in finance and administration at the Greater New York City Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and at Brooklyn-based DCM Inc., a marketing firm providing consulting services to non-profit arts organizations.
