Current Projects

  • Research on leadership development, reform and consensus-building in the public sector
  • Development of first-of-kind study of employee engagement in NYS and related workshop development and facilitation
  • Research support to help improve how emergency medical services are provided in a Long Island community
  • Assistance with an assessment of gaps in services provided to veterans in 5 upstate NY counties, with a focus on strengthening reintegration of veterans into communities and families post combat—including design and development of large-scale focus groups to involve stakeholders
  • Research involving the potential dissolution of a village in New York's Southern Tier region
  • Survey of 103 communities in the NY Adirondack Park region on economic development and other key issues

Completed Projects

  • Analysis for a NYS-commissioned study identifying opportunities to enhance service sharing in 3 communities (collectively involving 2 cities, 4 towns, 1 village)

Education
B.S. in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and M.S in Social and Organizational Psychology with merit from the London School of Economics and Political Science

Background
Ms. DiNisco brings 8 years experience in consulting, financial management, research, labor relations and management development to CGR. Prior to joining CGR in 2008, she was an associate for the NYS Governor’s Office of Employee Relations where she developed management and leadership programs for executives, including an extensive management competency framework. In addition, she advised officials on organizational development, employee issues and diversity and inclusion initiatives, and provided research and financial analysis for NYS collective bargaining matters. Her previous experience includes financial consulting for global companies served by the London office of PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and business analysis and writing for a European business journal. In addition, in 2000, she was a consultant to a Papua New Guinea hospital, where she initiated a computer consultancy project and implemented a new medical records program.
